An enjoyable retro comedy crime thriller!

Def(t)ective Diwakara played by Rishab Shetty is an aspiring detective who likes to read & watch crime fiction books & movies. He is pestered by his father to become a policeman and eventually he becomes a police constable who does small chores for his seniors. After he successfully solves a murder case, he will be assigned the task of solving a theft case which happens in different police stations. How he solves this case is what the movie’s all about! The plot is very interesting with many funny scenes and rib-tickling dialogues. The film takes you into the 80’s era which is very nostalgic. Rishab & Haripriya’s mesmerizing romance and the beautiful song will have you engaged. Prakash Tuminad, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty and all other actors have performed really well. The film becomes a bit slow in the 2nd half, however the climax is brilliantly shot and is quite mind boggling! Overall this movie is worth a watch!
